Background Dr. Ikechukwu Monday Osebor has a focus on both Theoretical and Applied Ethics. He earned a National Diploma in Secretarial Studies from Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, Nigeria, (1998), a B.A. in Philosophy from Delta State University, Abraka, Nigeria (2012), an M.A. in Social and Political Philosophy from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Nigeria (2016), and a Ph.D. in Ethics from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Nigeria (2021). In 2018 (until August 2022) he began working at Delta State Polytechnic as an ad hoc staff (lecturer 111) in the Faculty of General Studies' Department of Arts and Humanities. From August 2022 to June 2023, Dr. I.M. Osebor worked at Delta State University, Abraka, Nigeria, as Lecturer 11 in the Faculty of Arts' Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies. He was chairman of the exam monitoring committee and a member of the research and documentation committee for the faculty of arts' and Religious studies and Philosophy. Dr. Osebor is a renowned lecturer and a prolific writer. His academic works have been published in both national and international journals including Scopus-indexed. He is a co-author of some academic works in bioethics, existentialist philosophy, and African philosophy. In June 2023, Dr. Osebor began serving as Lecturer 1 in the Department of Philosophy, Faculty of Arts at the University of Delta Agbor. Native-centric ecology, eco-individualism, and Native-centric education are terms he has coined in environmental philosophy and education that have been published in several journals.
